Bride Groom Wedding Apples

caramel_chocolate_apple_snickers

The bride and groom apples look very fancy and are fairly simple to make. It takes patience and a little practice to get them just right, but they are well worth the effort if you are giving them as a gift.

First, start by following the directions to making caramel chocolate apples, dipping both the bride and the groom in white chocolate. Do not scrape the excess chocolate off. Instead, let it drip off to keep a perfectly smooth surface. Once you have both apples coated in white chocolate, place them in the fridge to get the chocolate very cool.

Once the apple is chilled, simply drizzle white chocolate on top with a spoon or knife.

Once chilled, you carefully dunk the apple again, but in milk chocolate. Dip the apple in at an angle to create the lines for the coat, and then tilt the other way for the second coat line. THe buttons and bowtie can be brushed on with a small paint prush or painting sponge. Don't worry about mistakes; once the chocolate has cooled again, you can use a razor blade to trip and sculpt the milk chocolate.
